The original D80 was one of my favourite single chip 1080P DLP projectors. This new version is not only cheaper but it’s also
better.
SIM’s unishape lamp technology gives even more efficient use of the light increasing quality further. If you are a
current DLP owner wanting to upgrade to the latest technology then this is the first step. If you are a 8” or 92 crt owner
looking to upgrade and have the throw length to fit one in then this is a great contender. Our last 9” crt owner who
swapped over had this to say... and this was before we calibrated it!
