| rogerjmwelch wrote on Sat, 04 September 2010 11:40 | I tried MENU 0975. Starting with an HDMI input (3), I don't see any message about TV Decoder "B" being active - the screen just momentarily goes blank and then shows "Input 3A 16:9" and the source signal again. Is there anything I can check to confirm it is accepting the command?

Try selecting input 7 and even though you don't see a display press MENU 0975.

I'm in Scotland just now so can't come around but I think that I'll need to come over with my XE to see if it behaves the same way as it does seem weird that no-one else has this issue..something must be physically broken I guess unless Jim and pat have an epiphany over the weekend...I'll keep my eye on this and let you know my availability when I am heading home

I think there must be something wrong with my timings. Could you please check if i use the right timing for 1920x1080@75:
H Front 66
H Sync 126
H Total 2358
V Front 4
V Sync 5
V Total 1125
198956250 kHz
Screenshape 1.78:1
Thank you very much.

Question: This is a CRT projector, correct? 1080p75 does not work with digital displays (in general) and I just want to make sure.
Note that we only test to 189 MHz. We have had some "+" systems work to 200 MHz, but you might reduce HTotal to say 2240 which would be a PClk of 189000000 Hertz. Better yet try the 1080p75 in the Output config Select Mode list.
Make sure you have a newer generation HDMI to analog so that it can take the 189000 or so clock rate.

Hi Jim,
yes i am using a CRT (Barco Reality 909) together with an external Moome FullHD v1.3 which should be able to handle up to 225 MHz. My 1920x1080p72 timings are Hf 66, Hs 126, Hb 246, Ht 2358, Vf 4, Vs 5, Vb 21, Vt 1125 at Clk 190,807,193 kHz and thats working fine.
I tried different settings for 1920x1080p75
ie: Hf 65, Hs 110, Ht 2133, Vf 4, Vs 5, Vb 21, Vt 1125 at Clk 179,971,875 KHz
but the studdering was always there. When i set up 1920x1080p50 the same movie looks fine. Could you please check if theres something wrong with 1920x1080p75?
Thank you very much and best regards
Holli
