Hi to everybody. This is my first post on this very supporting forum, but I am an happy user of a glorious Lumagen HDP since 2006. I connected everything (DVD player, MySKY HD decoder, samsung 2500 BD player...) to the scaler (via HDMI/DVI) and then to a Marquee 9500 (DVI to HDMI moome card) and never had any issue.
But, now I bought a WD TV live mediaplayer and I am not able to let it work in the proper way. The WD is able to output, via HDMI, RGB 16-235 or 0-255 or component. I tried all three but: with RGB is displayed a magenta image and with component a cyan image; it looks like the lumagen can't recognize the color space, even if, checking in WD and Lumagen menu, both WD output and Lumagen input are the same. I tested the combo with the TV and had same results.
If I connect the mediaplayer directly to the TV or the projector, there is no problem...
Any idea?
Thanks in advance for your answer.

What input socket on the scaler are you using?

Set the player to RGB 16-235.
Set the scaler to rgb video levels input and rgb digital input format.
If you still do not get a correct colour then...
can you check the dvi input with another hdmi device to see whether the DVI in is faulty on the scaler? Maybe you want to consider upgrading to a super duper Radiance XS?
