Lumagen Support Forum: Official Lumagen Video Processor & Scaler ForumWeird image with HDQ and a HD source

My local Philips dealer has lent me a 'HD stream' player with a hard drive. There is something like 20 HD video demos from philips (it's not a 'for sale' product )
There is a hdmi and a dvi output. The player can output 720p or 1080i, 50 or 60Hz
If i connect the player (using hdmi output) directly to the DVI entry of my 1292, i have an image. Well, it's not perfect : i have some dark zones on the screen and some strange little horizontal lines (bandwidth problem ???). But i can easily recognize the picture.
When i connect this player to the HDQ, the result is very weird. The right part of the image appears to the left or i only have half of screen used, it's nearly impossible to have acces to Lumagen menu. When it was possible, i switch from 1080p to 720p output and it was like if the HDQ doesn't change the output resolution and had a big problem to recognize the input format.
In the show room dealer, when this player is used on a philips lcd screen, you have a menu on the screen and you can choose which HD file to play.
I saw only one time this menu with the HDQ and it last 0.5 second !
So maybe this 'player' is outputting some strange things but ... when i use it with a dvdo VP-30 with ABT evolution, every thing is ok
The vp30 tells the input is 720p ou 1080i and output a normal image to my 1292.

Can you send us yours?
It's not possible
Having this player at home was already a 'privilege'
I've made some screen shots last night just for you to see the kind of image i got in the best case :
HD1153 ? Strange format, no ?
The de-interlacing is horrible...
The worst case (same point of view as previous pictures...) :
And sometimes it's like this :
Only half of the image is visible.
With this signal, it's impossible to change the ouput resolution. Every thing is ok in the HDQ menu but it doesn't apply the changes
