Lumagen Support Forum: Official Lumagen Video Processor & Scaler ForumNew "+" Processors for RadianceXE and -XS

My RadianceXE is doing a marvelous job with all input devices on my Sony Bravia (LCD-LED) running at an output frequency of 50Hz. While I understand the advantages of higher repetition cycles on CRTs I am a bit lost on what this would actually improve with Plasma and LCD TVs. Is the new increased output frequency of the "+"-Radiances visibly superior only with projectors (and CRTs of course)? In other words, is there also a clear benefit for us 'standard' flat panel TV users?
Perhaps one of the experts/forum members could shed some light on this.
Thanks for your help and always helpful instructions.
Cheers,

If you have a device (like CRT almost) which can handle 1080p72Jz or 75Hz it can be usefull ...
Or Maybe the next LCD generation will be able to use those frequencies. But it's not sure ]]>deuch2010-03-03T19:51:28-00:00Re: New "+" Processors for RadianceXE and -XS

Steve, Let me know your results, I have my office next to you in Horgen.
I am very happy with my Radiance XS+ feeding the G90 in 1080p 72 Hz. No flicker anymore for Blu ray's.
