Preparations for the Event continue. Wiring diagrams are being prepared to make sure we know exactly what switchers and distribution amps etc are required for the day. PJ HiFi's new demo room continues towards completion. Within the next 7days the organisers will be getting lists of the tasks they must accomplish and dates these have to be done by. The manufacturers and distributors who have agreed to assist with demo stock will be reminded of what stuff we need and when. The magnitude of what I wanted to do is now starting to dawn on me and it's causing some sleepless nights I can tell you. I hope to re-visit the venue's to take measurements and see where sockets are etc. later this week.

We'll be doing another with pubs and restaurants on it in a couple of weeks. We'll also send out a more comprehensive list of what equipment we will definitely have, when you will need to be at The Angel for registration and what groups you have been assigned to.

I'd imagine that many of us will want to go for a beer together afterwards. On Saturday I have been reliably informed that the pubs around PJ are heaving... so 60-80 folk turning up isn't a great idea. I'm sure we'll come up with a solution, in fact we are working on it.

• Chris Frost (ex Owl now with Philips and multi-faceted entertainer)
• Richard Ansell (Snell and Wilcox, the real video specialist... although Richard might have to leave the country on business that weekend... if he does though he's going to leave us his Interpolator anyway!)
• Roland Brooks (B4 Projection, bringing a pile of 1209s's and black out material and quite importantly his own expertise)
• Jeff Yerkess (JeffY will be bringing himself and his lovely HTPC)
• John Adcock (Father of Dscaler and partner in crime on the HTPC front with Jeff)
• William Wedge (Wsquared, Event 1 attendee and ISF calibrator, will hopefully be helping set up and taking around group)
• Eric Salih (Uncle Eric, HT specialist and forum owner Eric will be helping take around groups, I hope)
• John Dawson (Chief Executive of Arcam and all round nice guy)
• Dominic Rhodes ( Sometime poster, all the time Physicist, I hope Dominic will chaperone a group for us)
• Richard Wilson (ReTrO, will hopefully be able to give us a hand too)
